Yost Electric began in 1995 as a small one man operation. Being privileged in having a fine customer base, the family owned and operated enterprise has grown to its present size.  The father, together with his sons, comprises the management and workforce of the company. In 2006 we built a new office/warehouse to aid in the daily operations of the company. Yost Electric is dedicated to serving the electrical needs of our customers and community.

Our projects have been diverse from residential homes to commercial projects. We have provided the electrical design-build expertise in varied projects such as a body shop, a cement precast plant, and a welding shop to name a few.  In the agricultural world, installed phase converters for wells, pumps, and pivot systems.  The catfish industry has involved us in all aspects of the industry, electrical services, aeration control panels, a processing plant, and monitoring systems.  Yost Electric has installed and serviced variable frequency drives, built control panels, the typical power distribution/conduit work,  and general maintenance  for   local industrial plants.


Traditionally Yost Electric was involved in electrical construction.  As we had more man power we expanded into service work.  This has offered new challenges, but has given us a more rounded out company.  Service work provides a continued education.

One of our newest additions is outdoor and landscape lighting.  This new venture keeps us enthused about our work.  Whether it is lighting your house or yard, your business sign, or making your business more attractive, let’s discuss the many possibilities.
